About Us

Welcome!

Nicole Swanson Dear Parents:

Martin Elementary School is a family-focused community school, located on the northeast side of Green Bay. Our school has a K - 5th grade enrollment of approximately 375 students, with class sizes averaging around 23 students per classroom. Martin teachers are experienced professionals with deep knowledge of research-based instruction, best teaching practices, and are genuinely interested in helping students reach their full potential. We believe in strong partnerships between home and school to maximize our students' educational opportunities here at Martin.

At Martin, students participate in daily 90-minute literacy blocks and 75-minute math blocks, integrating technology throughout the day. Teachers work collaboratively to meet all students’ needs and to provide the right amount of challenge for each individual student.  On staff we have teachers specially trained to teach art, music, and physical education, as well as support English Language Learners, and students with special learning needs.

The YMCA offers before and after daycare on premise both before and after school.  You can contact them at 920-436-9622 to inquire about cost and availability. Martin’s Parent Network is active in planning family activities and providing extra funding to support Martin student learning.

Martin Elementary is the school to be at for high academic standards, family involvement and student centered learning. All students and staff firmly believe that to succeed each day we all must: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Kind! Call me at (920) 391-2405 or e-mail me at [email protected] for a school tour.

Sincerely,

Nicole Swanson
Principal
